UA Local 290 is committed to providing all of its Members with a workplace free from discrimination and harassment. The Union reaffirms that it does not condone discrimination or harassment of its Members in any form, and will work diligently to protect its member from such discrimination or harassment.

This prohibition covers any discrimination or harassment in the workplace regardless of whether the discrimination or harassment is committed by a Superintendent, Senior General Foreman, General Foreman, Foreman, Journeyman, Apprentice, Steward, or Business Agent. To the extent possible, the Union also will work to prevent such discrimination or harassment directed against its members from those unaffiliated with the Union.
